The RD 2330 phone was a basic, lightweight phone made exclusively for the Reliance CDMA network in India.
It had a “larger phone book memory” polyphonic ringtone support “with rhythmic keypad lighting” and basic messaging support.
LG’s Country Head for India commented at the launch that “lightweight has always been a sought-after feature in mobile phones and is often looked at as a premium feature.” He felt that “with good looks and great pricing, LG had the right combination to make this phone a runaway success.”
At launch it cost Rs. 2499 (US$32 / £25)
